Over the years, Noteworthy has contributed to campus life and the Austin community through performances for charity and campus affiliated events, such as the Taiwanese Student Night, Austin's Trail of Lights, Voices Against Violence, and the UT A Cappella showcase Acapalooza. More recently, the group has started entering into local competitions which has generated more exposure and performance opportunities. Noteworthy has competed at 2019 Texas Revue (UT's premier on-campus talent show), 2020 ICCA quarterfinals, 2020 Harmony Sweepstakes Chicago, and will soon compete in the 2022 ICCA quarterfinals. In addition, the group has received radio appearance opportunities and been included in a press release. During COVID, the group sang virtually, using Zoom and other video editing software to create music while hundreds of miles apart. Members range from those with over 15 years of musical experience to those who have never read sheet music - the best "shower singers" from all across their campus. As a diverse group, where every voice is heard, each member is valued for what they bring to the table. Members: Jessica Lam, Ella Moody, Ritu Karivaradasamy, Delaney Glosser, Sachi Kulkarni, Ash Murali, Hanjing Chen, Madison Stork, Rohun Rajaram, Spencer Simmons, Liam Miller, Sawad Kazi |
