Gold 'n Blues are Marquette's first and premier coed a cappella group on campus. Gold 'n Blues, founded in 2008 by freshmen Hilary Braseth and Katie Blazek, quickly grew from it's early days of performances in coffee shops and dining halls to large venue concerts across the Milwaukee area. Gold 'n Blues host their own concert each semester on campus, as well as performing around campus with other student organizations, singing the National Anthem for Marquette sporting events, and traveling around the country! ​Gold 'n Blues is currently proud to have 19 graduate and undergrad members. The group holds auditions yearly in the fall semester and occasionally in the spring semester. GnB typically is between 13 and 20 members, depending on the year. Our members come from a wide variety of majors and ages! Gold 'n Blues is committed to spreading their love for music around Marquette s campus and the Midwest area. Now in its seventeenth year, GnB continues to arrange their own music and has recorded five studio albums. The most recent album, Resilience, is currently available on iTunes and Spotify.
