Legacy is a dynamic barbershop harmony quartet that brings together the rich tradition of three former quartet champions with the fresh energy of a third-generation barbershopper. Legacy features two sets of mother/daughter singers, making the quartet a true family affair. Bryn Lewellen (lead) - A third-generation barbershopper, Bryn embodies the essence of barbershop harmony passed down through generations. She brings a deep understanding and passion for the craft, infused with modern flair she s picked up as a huge fan of Broadway musicals, performing in local theater, and participating in choirs at James Madison University, where she attends as an accounting major. She is a member of Bella Nova Chorus. Christina Lewellen (bass) - A seasoned barbershop veteran and former quartet champion (Epic, 2012), Christina changed voice parts from tenor to bass as a member of Legacy. She is a past president of Harmony, Inc., and a founding member of Bella Nova Chorus. She is the CEO of a national professional association, married to notable barbershopper Richard Lewellen, and mother to four daughters. Alexa Beal (baritone) Best known for her smooth lead voice in 2018 Harmony, Inc. quartet champions, Aged to Perfection, Alexa swapped to baritone in Legacy and effortlessly weaves together the intricate harmonies that define the genre. She is a HR professional, married to a frontline emergency responder, and mother to the cutest little barber-babies on the planet, Bellamy and Berkley. Gaye LaCasce (tenor) Also the tenor of 2018 Harmony, Inc. quartet champions Aged to Perfection, Gaye rounds out Legacy with the powerhouse high notes. She is the current international president of Harmony, Inc., a retired nonprofit professional, and doting grandmother to aforementioned barber-beauties, Bellamy and Berkley.
