Home Free: Country Evolution"The Sing-Off" Season 4 winners, who earlier wowed us on the Harmony Sweeps National Finals stage, all male Country quintet Home Free, deservedly became instant stars. Now in the middle of a multi-state national tour, the group somehow found time to record their third studio album, "Country Evolution", which clearly shows that all the buzz is no fluke! Austin, Rob, Tim, Adam and Chris have a wonderfully bright and deeply harmonious sound that shines through on every one of these 14 cuts, which includes five originals. Hard to pick favorites, but we'll go with "Alabama Sampler", "Seven Bridges Road", a funky cover of the Dolly Parton hit "9 to 5," a very fine pairing of "Fishin' In The Dark"/"Down in the Boondocks", a rousing "House Party" and winning covers of Andy Grammar's hit, "Honey, I'm Good," and Garth Brooks' "Friends in Low Places". Guest Artists include Charlie Daniels and Taylor Davis on "The Devil Went Down to Georgia," and the Oak Ridge Boys on "Elvira". Originals include the sweet "California Country," "Summer in the Country", a fan favorite with a ton of YouTube views, "Good Ol' Country Harmony" and the feel-good "Don't It Feel Good." A touching, hymn-like closing tune, "Serenity," is only 1:05 but it'll touch your heart. Listen, we love these guys-don't miss this one!!

Home Free: Crazy LifeWe caught Minnesota's all male quintet Home Free's crowd-pleasing, funny set on stage at the 2010 Harmony Sweeps Finals, where they somehow failed to place. They were obviously unfazed by that result, as we were next blown away by their act in late 2013 on the stage of NBC's smash show The Sing-Off, in the Finals. They won, of course, and got such tremendous audience response that Columbia Records put together a beautifully recorded "best-of" CD, "Crazy Life." There are 11 tunes here, many of them familiar to "Sing-Off" fans: the Johnny Cash hit "Ring of Fire" (with guest soloist Avi Kaplan, and actually written by June Carter and Merle Kilgore), "Everything Will Be Okay," "I've Seen" and "Champagne Taste On a Beer Budget", all written or co-written by amazing bass Tim Foust (who also did a lot of the arranging); a Hunter Hayes medley of "Everybody's Got Somebody But Me," "Wanted" and "I Want Crazy;" "Any Way the Wind Blows" by Nesler, Hansen & Dodson;" "Jump Right In" by Brown, Mraz & Durette; "A Little Bit of Everything" by Rudolf, Warren & Warren and Kevin Fisher's title tune are all enthusiastic favorites. The strong leads by Austin and Rob, dynamic beatbox by Adam, steady baritone by Chris and rich, chocolaty bass by Tim, and just the pure effortless star quality of Home Free is well worth whatever the price to hear or see these guys!

Home Free: Dive Bar SaintsThe album features 12 tracks, 10 of which are original songs. The two covers include Vince Gill's 1994 hit "Go Rest High on That Mountain" and John Denver's 1971 classic "Take Me Home, Country Roads." The original music features band members Austin Brown (high tenor) and Tim Foust (bass) as co-writers on several songs. "We've been waiting for a special time to release an album like Dive Bar Saints," Foust shares. "With a couple of us being able to write on it and release it on our own label - we're so proud of this record."2019 EP release features the group's trademark reworkings of some of pop culture's best loved bar-themed songs of the last few decades, including "Take Me Home Tonight" made famous by the late Eddie Money, "Tennessee Whiskey," recently covered by Chris Stapleton, Dan + Shay's "Tequila," and Smash Mouth's "All Star."

Home Free: Full Of CheerOne of our favorite winners of Season 4 of NBC's hit, The Sing-Off, based of course on our own Harmony Sweepstakes, bring us a country-flavored, harmony-rich smorgasbord of Christmas songs. "Full of Cheer" is exactly that, ten beautifully arranged by group members Adam and Chris Rupp, Tim Foust and Ben Bram. The harmonies here are as delicious as the ones that wowed the delighted Sing-Off judges, and are especially sweet on traditional favorites "White Christmas (featuring wonderful faux harmonica and pedal steel)," "O' Holy Night," "I'll Be Home for Christmas," "Baby, It's Cold Outside," "Angels We Have Heard on High," "Do You Hear What I Hear?" and "Silent Night," featuring guest vocalist Taylor Davis. We also loved Jimmy Melton, Anthony Mobley and Danielle Neal's funny and nostalgic "Hairy Christmas," the hilarious country classic "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer" and the manic, funny title tune, where the guys celebrate that "my baby left me full of cheer!" Of the many things we love about Home Free is how much fun they have singing, their sound is rich and effortless, and their arrangements tight and sweet. Your friends and family, country fans or not, will love "Full of Cheer!"

Home Free: TimelessThe group competed in and won the fourth season of The Sing-Off on NBC in 2013 and have gone on the great success with a steady touring schedule and an ever-growing fan base. The lead tenor, who fronts the group and sings most of the solos, is Austin Brown. Tenor is sung by Rob Lundquist, baritone harmony by Adam Chance, and Tim Foust sings bass with vocal percussion provided by beatboxer Adam Rupp. Although Brown is Home Free's primary soloist, all of the other members occasionally sing solos as well. This is a top-notch recording that shows their tight harmonies and impressive arrangements.
