Having come from a musically gifted, it’s only natural that Jacob would pursue his own passion in music. Jacob was one of those students in high school who somehow managed to balance multiple extracurricular activities at once. When Jacob wasn’t playing the baritone sax in both jazz and concert band, he was honing his skills as a vocal bass in jazz and chamber choir. For his senior project Jacob started an a cappella group, and that is when his long career in a cappella began. During his time at Central Washington University Jacob was involved with vocal jazz, chamber choir, and men’s choir, but his primary musical outlet was with CWU’s a cappella group, Nada Cantata. After college, Jacob continued to follow his interest in a cappella and performed locally and internationally with 20/20.

When Jacob isn’t cooking up ideas for our next project or playing video games with friends, he is probably researching vocal percussionists and practicing his overtones to the tune of Amazing Grace.
