Their artistry and effortless vocal prowess allows audiences to forget the technical and lose themselves in something bigger than that particular performance. While the world waits for these voices, Josh is perfectly happy to sing for people.
A role as one of the barbershop quartet members in The Music Man introduced him to the world of a cappella singing, and it wasn't long before he and two other high school friends formed their own quartet, the Kryptkicker Four. They weren't great at math.
Josh continued to seek out quartet singing as he began studying audio engineering at the New England Institute of Art and completing coursework in music at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and would occasionally dabble in acoustic guitar, drums, and bass as well. His passion for vocal ensembles inspired him to travel any distance required for rehearsals, shows, or competitions and it became clear that this was more than just a hobby.
Becoming a founding member of Blend Tech (along with Dan), he was offered the opportunity to sing professionally while travelling around the world with Celebrity Cruise Line and jumped at the chance to entertain audiences night after night. It was this experience that also connected him with The Cat's Pajamas, another professional group based out of Branson, MO, for whom he toured on Norwegian Cruise Line.
Presently, Josh is a service advisor for a Chrysler dealership, which is so shockingly similar to touring the world as a professional a cappella singer that he feels like he never left the high seas. That previous statement being as untrue as any ever written, Josh is thrilled to once again step onto the stage and into the spotlight with Drive, even if it does have to be with Dan again.
