Matt’s musical journey began with the humble trombone. Throughout his academic years he played in jazz, marching, and concert band settings. In his first year at Central Washington University he decided to join the new a cappella group on campus, and eventually expanded his participation to many different vocal ensembles. Since becoming a part of the a cappella community Matt says he has only grown more appreciation for the genre and for people who share their passion through music.

A vocalist, beatboxer, and arranger, Matt is always one to bring the creative vision to the table. That, and the best bowl of home-made salsa you’ve never had.
