Originally a classical pianist, Michael was inspired to start beatboxing when his friend made cool noises in high school English class. While attending the University of Chicago, he performed extensively and founded the (((soundwave))) Collective, a live-looping collaborative music project. When not percussing, Michael works in marketing and airballs a lot of shots on the basketball court.
