Valerie's life defines the term "barbershop brat." Both of her parents were in barbershop societies, so her years of exposure to barbershop music and competitions has created her expert ear for barbershop music. She has competed in Region 19 quartets winning multiple regional and international quartet awards as well as multiple medals singing with the Pride of Baltimore Chorus. Valerie loves to teach "selling" a good ballad along with coaching choreography and she has helped groups of all acappella genres win awards. Val works as a Retail sales specialists for Advantage Military, resides with husband Bill reside in Joppa, MD, has two incredible offsprings and three 3 dogs! She loves Black and Tan beer.
