 | | 17th Avenue All-Stars The 17th Avenue Allstars are Colorado's premier a cappella performance; a group of passionate musicians celebrating the 31st year of the Allstars' legacy. With a fresh perspective and new talent, the Allstars bring their multifaceted, musically rich, and endlessly entertaining show to venues in Colorado and nationwide - in addition to private, corporate, and family-friendly events.
The Allstars show is led by the incredible vocal stylings of Claudia McCarthy, Tristan Anderson, Alissa Kotranza, and Lily Timmons, driven by our rhythm section - Grant Hamilton and vocal percussionist Paul Lannon, and features choreography and a wide variety of songs and medleys.

 | | 5280 A Cappella 5280 A Cappella, named one of the Top Vocal Groups in Colorado are guaranteed to bring a burst of infectious energy to the stage. Their unique repertoire entertains audiences of all ages. They have graced large festivals to small ones. They have been featured on local TV stations throughout Colorado and can be seen performing for some great causes.

Counterpoint Quartet Counterpoint is a quartet comprised of women who met while they went to Colorado School of Mines. This award-winning women s barbershop quartet strives for excellence in both their sound and performance. Counterpoint loves to bring hilarious, family-friendly fun to every stage and look forward to bringing that energy to Harmony Sweeps!

Grandview Jazz Choir The Grandview Jazz Choir is the current CHSAA State Champions of Vocal Jazz. They were also selected to perform at the Colorado Music Educators Association Conference in January of 2026. This choir has several students selected for the All State Jazz and All State Choirs.

 | | Miner Dissonance Miner Dissonance is Colorado School of Mines' mixed voice A Cappella group, with a focus on contemporary A Cappella. We formed in 2012, and have been going strong since then. Our goal is to allow students to keep singing throughout college, and to find community through choir! We hope to keep engineering harmonies together for years to come.

The Storytellers The Storytellers are a vocal quintet that fuses the power of song and narrative to build community wherever they go. They sing all over Colorado, partnering with local schools, businesses, nonprofits, and other organizations to create spaces for people to connect to themselves and each other through the arts.

Performing?
We are always seeking groups who would like to participate
in our events.
Groups of any style are welcome, but you must have between
3 and 12 members. We have a rule book which explains many of the
details of the event, which you can see by clicking here. All groups must audition in
order to compete. Generally this is done by sending a current tape
and photo, although live auditions are sometimes arranged. The
purpose of the audition is to make sure the group is appropriate for
the Festival and to help the Director determine the performance
order. If a group has competed previously, the audition process may
be waived.

Tyler Wigginton (Rocky Mountain)
Tyler Wigginton is a nonprofit fundraising professional, choral leader, and composer based in Denver, Colorado. He serves as a Philanthropy Officer with the Barbershop Harmony Society and is the Artistic/Musical Director of the fifth place medalist chorus Sound of the Rockies, while also singing bass in the internationally competitive quartet Sunday Night Social. A certified BHS Musicality Judge and sought-after coach for choruses and quartets, Tyler has taught at Harmony University, BinG! Harmony College, Rocky Mountain Harmony College, and multiple leadership summits. He holds a B.A. in Musical Composition from Metropolitan State University of Denver and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Musical Composition at Berklee College of Music. When not musicking he enjoys rock climbing, reading, tabletop games, and spending time with his family.
