Baudboys are Microsoft's premiere men's a cappella singing group. (Okay, maybe we're the only one. But we're still pretty good!) We perform all styles of music, from rock to folk to classical, with as much humor as we can inject. The group has been in existence on the Microsoft campus for over 12 years. None of the original members remain in the group, having long since retired when those stock option thingies were still worth something. Currently, the longest tenure is about 7 years. When we re not building the next generation of software, we perform on the Microsoft campus, and for various charitable and non-profit organizations in the area.

KlapaDooWopella features the soulful romantic sounds of traditional Croation "Klapa" singing, while offering a diverse repertoire of international a cappella genre; earthy folk songs from Bosnia, Slovenia, Italy, Serbia and - as its name implies - American doo wop. Klapas are the a cappella singing groups that hang out on the street corners in towns up and down the Adriatic coast of Croatia. The passionate harmonic blend of these Klapa songs evoking lost love, raging seas, and uncaught fish is the core of KlapaDooWopella s work. Despite their delightful forays into other acappella media, the quartet always returns to its first love, the moan of the sea that is the primal chord of the Klapa song. KlapaDooWopella offers the traditional klapa song along with more recent songs of the doo wop genre in a unique blend that is sure to delight even the most begrudging concert goer. The group is preparing for an upcoming Adriatic Tour presenting a series of concerts in Italy and Croatia.

Notorious: What do you get when you combine a Starbucks manager/dance instructor, a traveling computer salesman, a Behavorial Specialist, a Human Resource Supervisor, a Restaurant Manager/bartender and a Massage Therapist/private music teacher? You get Olympia's newest a cappalla group - Notorious. Members of Notorious are all veterans of other performing groups such as the Akafellas, DoubleShot, Chanteuse, and The Silhouettes. Notorious is from the Olympia area and was formed about a year ago. Last year, four of its members competed in the Northwest Harmony Sweepstakes as Double Shot. This year, they gained an extra pair of voices to broaden their musical horizons. They enjoy singing many styles of music and are constantly trying to find unique songs to put through the "a cappella filter". Despite their many busy schedules, Amber, Jon, Stephanie, Michi, Tony, and Lee find time to get together, eat, drink, laugh... and sometimes even sing. Their love for music and warped sense of humor combine to make them Notorious... but in a good way.

SoundDesign is all about a cappella great a cappella. SoundDesign met and sang together for the first time in November of 1998 and we've been at it ever since &with one change: we now have a new bass, Kari Metzger, from Vancouver, B.C. She's awesome and we're having fun getting acquainted, learning new music, laughing, and planning new shtick. We are Carolyn Huber (tenor), Katy Sansburn (lead), Sue Beck (baritone), and Kari Metzger (bass). We each have experience with other successful quartets and choruses but bringing this foursome together is magical. Please pick up one of our CDs in the lobby before you leave. It features a live performance of "Peal Me a Grape" - our signature song. Enjoy all the fine entertainment this evening! And keep on singing!
